Minnesota Directors of Nursing Administration in Long-Term Care

The Minnesota Directors of Nursing Administration in Long-Term Care (MN-DONA) held their 15th Annual Long-Term Care – The Future Is Us conference in Breezy Point, MN on October 8-10.  The conference was a huge success with 215 attendees.  Every year MN-DONA gives away scholarships to individuals who are pursuing a nursing career or furthering their education.  This year with the help of sponsors and from MN-DONA, they awarded over $11, 000 in scholarships.  Every year MN-DONA also presents a Director of the Year Award; this year Sybil Donelan, director of Nursing at Gracepointe Crossing – Gables East in Cambridge was awarded this honor.

MN-DONA will be exhibiting in the Expo hall during our Dare to Be Great convention in November – look for them in booth #220.  Also, watch for information about an MN-DONA breakfast on November 18th at the Hyatt during our convention!
