There is a change in dates for one of the community consortium videoconferences that we reported on just last week.  Note the dates below are now the corrected dates—the Department of Human Services needed to reschedule the March event due to conflicting videoconferences.

November 17, 2008:  target date to publish the request for proposal.  While the Association will not be seeing a draft prior to publication, we have been encouraged to submit ideas and comments as the draft is being developed.  If you have some thoughts about what should/should not be included and/or what should “count” most, now is the time to forward these thoughts to me so I can gather them together.

November 20, 2008:  videoconference training on the request for proposal—pre-registration required at http://agingtraining.dhs.state.mn.us.

March 24, 2009 from 9 to noon:  second videoconference training on the request for proposal.  This had been requested by attendees at the September kick-off event, and is designed for groups that have already gathered together, and who already have their RFP response in progress.

May 2009:  responses to the RFP will be due.
