May MREP Work Group Meeting Set for May 19

The May meeting of the Medicare Revenue Enhancement Program (MREP) workgroup is set for Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from 1:30-3:30 p.m.

SNF Benefits Exhaust, Demand and No-Payment Claims

Description:
Medicare requires providers to submit claims to keep beneficiaries within their benefit periods for daily skilled care, benefits exhaust, demand bills, no-payment and Medicare Advantage claims.  Medicare also requires providers to issue the proper notification of non-coverage to beneficiaries in a timely manner when coverage is not available or will be changing.  Through this training session you will see the requirements that need to be met to receive proper payment and track where beneficiaries are within their benefit periods.

Target Audience:
LTC facilities, health care professionals interested in understanding the changes in skilled nursing facility (SNF) Benefits Exhaust, Demand and No-Payment Claims.
