100 Bottles of Wine on the Wall . . . that’s the goal for the Foundation’s First Wall of Wine fundraising raffle.  The raffle, which will be held during the 2010 Innovation and Action Convention & Exposition, will give Convention-goers a chance to support the Care Providers of Minnesota Foundation in a fun and spirited way.

To make the Wall of Wine raffle a success, we’re depending on our provider members and business partners to help us build our “wine cellar” with 100 bottles of wine.  Board of Directors and staff contributions have brought us to about 20 bottles, ranging from wines bottled in LaPorte, Minnesota to Chilean, Australian, and Italian wines.  Wines already donated range in value from about $15 to nearly $100 per bottle, so raffle-ticket purchasers will have a chance to win some fine wine for their own collections.

Committee members meeting between now and the Convention have been asked to bring a bottle or two of wine to the meeting, but the invitation to make a donation is extended to all of our members.  We hope to raise at least $2,000 and to do this, we need to fill our wine cellar.  If you’d like to make a donation, here are two ways you can participate:

You can make a direct donation to the Foundation’s Wall of Wine raffle and wine will be purchased on your behalf.  Or, you can bring your wine donations to the Care Providers of Minnesota office any time during normal business hours (8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday).  (You can have the wine shipped, as well!)  A donation form can be downloaded HERE.

We are excited to be adding the Wall of Wine Raffle to our continuing and highly-successful Silent Auction.  With your wine donation and your participation in this year’s raffle, you’ll be helping support the Foundation’s ongoing work of furthering the careers of students in long-term care and identifying and developing future leaders.  We’re bringing some Innovation to this year’s Convention . . . please help us by taking Action today and making a donation to the Wall of Wine fundraiser.
