Many Hosts Still Needed for Innovation and Action Convention & Exposition
By Cyndi Spencer

We are still looking for hosts for many of the 100 breakout and keynote sessions that will be presented at this year’s Convention, so please consider volunteering for a session or two.  It is an excellent opportunity to become more visibly active in the Association and a great way for other members to meet you.

Woman planning which session(s) to hostAn easy way to start:  As you are planning which sessions you will attend at this year’s Convention, consider hosting one or two.  You’ll be there anyway, and hosting adds to your learning experience.  We’ll give you the simple instructions and materials you need to make the experience fun and stress-free.  Briefly, hosts greet and introduce (from a short script) the session presenter(s), distribute and collect materials, and in general ensure that the session runs smoothly.  They are backed up by Care Providers of Minnesota staff, which is available just outside session rooms to trouble-shoot and help session hosts with any questions, technical, or presenter needs.  (Uncomfortable with speaking in public?  We need several keynote session hosts, who do not have any speaking responsibilities.)

The session hosting form can be viewed and printed HERE.
