According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Assessment Submission and Processing (ASAP) system issues have been resolved, and the processing of the MDS 3.0 submission files was restarted on October 22, 2010.
CMS recommends that providers read and use the revised Final Validation Reports. Some key points include:
- The revised Final Validation Reports will have a Processing Completion Date of 10/21/2010 or later.
- The updated RUG-IV Specifications Version 1.00.9 and DLL are available on the CMS website.
- Providers using the jRAVEN software are asked to check the CMS website for the version that contains the updated DLL.
