DHS Reissues Information on Long-Term Care Partnership (LTCP) Program
By Todd Bergstrom

The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) recently published the bulletin, “DHS Reissues Information on Long-Term Care Partnership (LTCP) Program (#10-21-18).”  The bulletin replaces bulletin #08-21-08.

The Minnesota Long-Term Care Partnership (LTCP) is a public-private program designed to encourage more people to purchase long-term care insurance.  The LTCP enables people who buy certain qualified long-term care (LTC) insurance policies to keep more assets if they later need to request Medical Assistance (MA) to help pay for their LTC services.

To view the bulletin, please visit the DHS website.
