Is your nursing facility, housing with services, or assisted living facility still struggling to understand the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) rules for hazardous waste compliance in Minnesota? The MPCA has produced a free recorded webinar for “long-term care providers” to use as a resource tool to better understand hazardous waste compliance expectations.

The free 52-minute webinar is now posted in the Regulatory Resources portion of the Care Providers of Minnesota website. Click here to access the webinar. Other MPCA documents pertaining to hazardous waste are also available under the “Hazardous Waste Compliance” tab in the Regulatory Resources portion of our website. It appears that the MPCA has had very little, if any, survey activity at long-term care organizations since their announced October 1, 2010 compliance deadline.
