Conference Committee Chairs Hann and Abeler Will Join Public Policy Panel Discussion at Spring Leadership Conference
By Cyndi Spencer

As the legislative session heats up, and changes in the way we do business are imminent, being as informed as possible is one of the most proactive choices you can make as an owner, administrator, or manager. On April 20, Care Providers of Minnesota will bring together an expert faculty to discuss some of the most important topics affecting providers of care for Minnesota’s older adults: Health Care Reform, Business Planning, Re-Hospitalization, and the Public Policy Landscape.

Late-breaking news: We have just received confirmation that the co-chairs of the Conference Committee on Health and Human Services Finance will participate on our Public Policy Landscape panel. Senator David Hann (R-Eden Prairie) and Representative Jim Abeler (R-Anoka) are in charge of negotiating the final conference committee agreement between the House and Senate positions. Their presence at our forum is the final piece in what is sure to be a great program.

If you hadn’t been planning to attend the 2011 Spring Leadership Conference, especially if you haven’t taken time to really look at the program agenda, you should take a few minutes to open up the brochure and read more about this phenomenal program.
