The Center on Aging and Minnesota Area Geriatric Education Center are pleased to welcome J. Andrew Billings, MD, co-director of Harvard Medical School Center for Palliative Care, as keynote speaker to the June 1, 2011 Summer Institute. This year's Institute, Understanding Palliative Care Across Settings, will provide an opportunity for health professionals, clinicians, administrators, educators, faculty and students to learn from national and local experts about the implementation of palliative care programs in health care and community settings. The program will also include opportunities to learn about the many palliative care initiatives taking place in Minnesota.
