The following is a brief update from Stratis Health on educational opportunities/resources related to palliative care.

New Minnesota Cancer Plan Released
The new Cancer Plan Minnesota 2011-2016 was officially launched at the March 24th Minnesota Cancer Summit. This updated five-year cancer-specific plan is a framework for action, and includes four objectives related to hospice, palliative care and advance care planning: increase the use of advance care planning, improve availability of palliative care services, increase utilization of hospice care, and increase number of hospice care providers who accept pediatric patients.
