The Center on Aging's 2011 Summer Institute, “Understanding Palliative Care Across Settings,” will be on Wednesday, June 1 at the College of Continuing Education Conference Center on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota. The keynote will be delivered by J. Andrew Billings, MD, of Harvard Medical School Center for Palliative Care and Massachusetts General Hospital. Care Providers of Minnesota has served on the planning committee for this one-day event designed to provide an active and participatory learning experience for health professionals, educators and students who want to increase their understanding of palliative care and to improve the quality of palliative care services.
