There’s only a week left to register to golf at the 2011 Care Providers of Minnesota Foundation Annual Golf Tournament!

This year’s tournament will be held Tuesday, July 19 at Crystal Lake Golf Club in Lakeville. We’ve received great support from our business partners as hole and event sponsors, and some fun contests and competitions are lined up, which guarantees a good time is in store for everyone! But more than a chance to win valuable prizes or network with colleagues and friends, remember that this tournament is the Foundation’s largest fundraising event of the year.

As the deadline for this year’s Foundation scholarship applicants draws near, we anticipate another record-breaking year of applications from across the state. With funds in such demand, a successful golf tournament is necessary to support the distribution of scholarships and the continuation of the Leading4Life program.

We’d love for you to join us this year at the Tournament. There is still room for golfers and you can register today or view more information on the Association website, under Education and Events.

If you can’t golf, but would like to help, here are two easy ways:

• Donate a six-pack of beer and help us build a wall of beer, which will be awarded in a “winner takes all” raffle during the tournament. Your donation can be dropped off at the Care Providers of Minnesota office any time prior to July 19—or you can drop it off at Crystal Lake Golf Club on the 19th.
• Make a donation directly to the Foundation. We can securely accept credit card payments online! The online donation process is on the Association website. Just go to Foundation and click the "Donate Now!" button.
