RFP Issued for Special Outreach to Minority/Ethnic Seniors in Metro Area

The Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging, Inc. (MAAA) is seeking a provider for special access and outreach services to minority/ethnic adults age 60 and older in Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott and Washington counties.

Special access and outreach includes community outreach and home visits to homebound and isolated minority/ethnic elders, assistance to help elders access services that enable them to remain in their community, and limited cultural/educational activities. Funding is for one year only from January 1–December 31, 2012.

The request for proposal will be available at www.tcaging.org on July 29, 2011. A proposer conference is scheduled for August 5, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the MAAA office, 2365 N. McKnight Rd., N. St. Paul, MN 55109.
