Checked Our Career Center Lately?
By Lisa Foss Olson Just a reminder that for members, posting job openings on the Association’s website is a benefit of membership! And as companies advertise job openings in their local papers less and less, where does a prospective employee look? Online — on our website! For health careers and job openings, Care Providers of Minnesota’s job center is the place to look for a new job, as well as the place to post your job openings. Jobs stay active for 30 days in a public-access section of the Association website, where they can be viewed by members and non-members alike. To get started: 1. Go to “Career Opportunities” on the Association’s website and click “Member Postings.” You’ll be asked for your username and password. (Please note: if this is your first time posting to our site, please email webmaster@careproviders.org to receive your "job admin" role which will allow you to post your jobs online.) 2. Click the heading: MEMBERS Add/Edit Jobs. Click on the text that says “add new item” and a new page will come up, asking for job specifics. Just fill this out, and when you are ready, click the button at the bottom that says “save changes” and you’re set! The job has been added to our job center and will remain posted for 30 days. 3. If you want to edit a job that has already been posted, click on "edit job" and make your changes. 4. To delete a job, go to “delete” on the “search jobs” page. Click delete and confirm that you wish to delete this job. If you have questions, contact Lisa at the Association office (952-851-2483). If you have specific questions on posting a job, call the webmaster at the Association office (952-854-2444). Thank you. Lisa Foss Olson |
