2011 Care Providers of Minnesota Convention attendees will be “enriched” by keynote sessions all three days. Here’s what’s in store:

AHCA/NCAL President and Chief Executive Officer Governor Mark Parkinson will open this year’s Convention on Monday, November 14. His presentation, Prospering During the Perfect Storm, will provide an overview of the opportunities and challenges that the long-term and post-acute care profession faces, his vision of how long-term and post-acute care must provide the cost and quality solutions, and the importance of our role in the economy.

Tuesday morning, attendees will be motivated by keynote presenter Carr Hagerman, whose message uncovers how, even in the midst of this ever-changing tide of events, there are organizations and individuals that go beyond merely surviving to thriving. In his presentation, Top Performer: A Bold Approach to Service & Life, Hagerman will demonstrate how the power of commitment, play, attitude, presence, and leadership can provide a source of inspiration and energy that anyone can tap into to become a top performer.

After three days of enriching and inspiring education, activities, and events, closing presenter Donna Manring will "tie it all together" with her powerful message: Spirit of Caring: Inspire, Empower and Enrich. Manring will bring a fresh perspective that will encourage each of us to choose to live every day with a positive outlook and a "generosity of spirit." Long after Manring’s final words, you will be buzzing with excitement and motivated to make a difference.

Convention registration is now open online, and copies of the registration book are available to download from the Association website. Printed copies of the book and registration materials were mailed to members this week.
